Patty Grasher

Host

Patty Grasher is the author of a local guidebook, Explore Vancouver Washington, as well as other
nonfiction books. Growing up in Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington she is now very happy living in Vancouver, Washington with her husband, one sweet cat, and one crazy one. In between reading any book she can get her hands on; she loves writing and radio. A few days a week she shows up for work at the Fort Vancouver bookstore.

Behind the Show

I had been working in a small radio station in Spokane, WA and it was the one big thing I missed a lot moving to Vancouver. When I first heard Vancouver had independent radio, I was excited to be a part of it. When I first inquired the time wasn’t right but finally  everything moved into position. And as an avid reader and author creating a show around books seemed the most natural fit.
