Nicole M. Miller: Horses, History and Until Our Time Comes

Nicole M. Miller is a Southwest Washington historical fiction author, lifelong horsewoman, and award-winning journalist whose love of horses and history comes together in her novel Until Our Time Comes. Set in Poland during World War II, the novel follows a story of courage, survival, romance, and the extraordinary role Arabian horses played during the war. The book was named a Christy Award finalist. Miller’s second novel, All We Carry Home, releases in October 2026 and brings the story closer to the Pacific Northwest with a postwar setting in Eastern Oregon.
