Steven Glickman interviews Dr. Suzanne Singer, a Navajo (Diné) tribal member in Arizona who started a non-profit, Native Renewables, aimed at providing renewable power solutions to over 15,000 tribal families that did not have access to electricity.
Dr. Suzanne Singer grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona, got her MS and doctorate in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley, and is the co-founder and Executive Director of Native Renewables. Dr. Singer won the 2019 U.S. Clean Energy Education and Empowerment (C3E) Entrepreneurship Award for outstanding leadership and accomplishments in clean energy.
