On this month’s program, we talk with Democrat, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, who is running for reelection in the Third Congressional District, one of the nation’s hottest races. In this conversation, Representative Perez discusses her thoughts on key issues concerning voters: affordability, healthcare, immigration, reproductive rights, voting and the state of democracy. Be sure to listen to our September show to hear how her Republican challenger responds to the same topics.
Next, we bring on Troy McCoy, current Battle Ground City Councilor, former mayor, and candidate for Clark County Council, District 5. McCoy gets into the nitty gritty of his work on school board and city council, discussing how he gets things done in an often-challenging political environment and how he would approach serving on the County Council. We hope you enjoy the show!!
