Michelle Bart has a DREAM…a world without violence.

As Founder and CEO of the National Women’s Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation, NWCAVE has become an award-winning nonprofit advocating for accountability and justice through their Advocacy Center for Justice. 

They tackle all forms of violence including, domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, gun violence, and more.

With over 35 years in the nonprofit and media sectors, Michelle founded NWCAVE to be a voice for crime victims.

Michelle, a rape survivor herself, she and her team have worked to combat the backlog of rape kits in Washington State by partnering with Washington State Patrol Crime Lab and elected officials, among many others. 

NWCAVE is known for its Missing Children’s Division, conferences, training, and making media matter.

Michelle and Dr. Kathie Mathis, co-founded Spotlight for Justice, a podcast that continued to have raw, candid conversations that shine a light on law, order, and the injustices in our community and society. 

Today, that podcast can be heard on KXRW as a radio show carrying the mission of NWCAVE the airwaves of the Portland Metro area until posted for listeners all over the world to hear, engage, and take action to a world without violence.
