Re-Imagined Radio celebrates the anniversary of the famous “I Have a
Dream” speech, by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and considers some
stories behind its origins, context, delivery, and reception. Originally titled “Normalcy, Never Again” (Anonymous, “Dream Songs”),
Dr. King’s speech was forever altered when he went off script and,
speaking from his heart, described in several paragraphs his dream for
racial equality.
